Jeløy, which is halfway along the Oslo fjord, has a lot to offer those who are interested in exploring the underwater life.
Imagine the weightless feeling of floating in the water as you examine fish and the other forms of life below the surface of the water close up. Who knows, perhaps you’ll even find an old shipwreck?
Meanwhile above sea level there’s a whole world of forests in south eastern Norway waiting to be explored, with hidden places and dark lakes. We will explore some of the wilderness areas learning as we do how a tour in such areas can be fun. Maybe we’ll sample a night under the stars, with a hammock strung up between trees or camping in a tent.
There will be plenty to occupy us as we explore life both below and above water, learning as we do that teamwork and mutual respect are essential ingredients. There will be other adventures as well, such as the chance to take the boatman equivalent of a driving licence, joining in local safari tours and some rock climbing.
