Because of the unique partnership we have with The Salvation Army in Kenya, you have the chance of a tour that includes experiences so varied as missionary aid work, safari and snorkeling in the Indian Ocean.
For the first part of the tour we will be staying at a Salvation Army Childrens Home. This provides a wonderful opportunity to live alongside the children and teenagers. Whilst we are based there you will also be taken on a trip to see one of Africas largest slum townships.
The second part of the tour is a journey up to the Masai Mara – Kenyas largest national park. Masai Mara is the northern part of the district of Serengeti, which is one of the largest savanna areas in the world. We will see wild animals of many types and will be staying at Basecamp Explorer which is run by the nomad community of Masai Mara.
The final part of the tour takes place at the coastal city of Mombassa besides the Indian Ocean. This offers the chance of enjoying the azure blue sea, great snorkeling, good food and – for those who already have a divers licence – fantastic scuba diving.
